A Legacy of Literacy and Inclusion

Our Story

A Legacy of Literacy and Inclusion

Founded by Joe Ezigbo, a visionary committed to social equity, the foundation emerged from a deep-seated need to address the 'invisible disability' that affects 1 in 10 Nigerians.Dyslexia often remains undiagnosed, leaving bright minds trapped behind barriers of frustration and misunderstanding.

Our journey began in the classrooms of rural and urban Nigeria, where we witnessed firsthand the potential of children being overlooked. We believe that dyslexia is not a deficit, but a different way of processing the world one that often brings extraordinary gifts of creativity and problem-solving.

Today, we stand as a beacon of hope, providing international-standard screening tools and evidence-based interventions tailored to the Nigerian cultural and educational context.

Governance &
Transparency

The Joe Ezigbo Foundation is committed to the highest standards of ethical governance. We publish our annual financial reports and impact metrics to ensure our donors and partners can see exactly how their contributions are making a difference.
